Offering a family friendly environment in Lynchburg for generations, Vista Acres has two pools, a deck for parties, and a competitive swim team all on a beautiful, wooded 3 acre lot.
Our main pool has a unique cross-shaped design, with 25 meter swim lanes, a 9 ft deep end with a diving board, and a 3 ft shallow end. We have a separate shallow kiddie pool too!
Where is the pool located?
We are located in the Vista Acres neighborhood (off of Wards Ferry Rd.) behind the Kohl’s shopping center (120 Wade Ln., Lynchburg, VA 24502)
When is the pool open?
The pool is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Our hours are
Monday: 11 - 6
Tuesday - Thursday: 11 - 7
Friday - Saturday: 11 - 8
Sunday: 12 - 6
There are exceptions to our regular hours when Lynchburg City Schools are in session, holidays, home swim meets, weather, and other occasions.
How much does it cost to join Vista Acres Pool?
To join the pool, you’ll need to purchase a one-time stock which costs $100 as well as pay annual membership dues.
2023 annual pool dues are $475 for family, $375 for single or senior (65+). These dues are reduced by $50 if you attend one of our cleanup days or arrange to volunteer in some other way.

A Message from your 2022-2023 Volunteer Board
Hello Vista Acres community!
We are excited to be getting ready for our 2023 pool year! Last year was a banner year for us, with 47 new members, $7k of improvements to our facility (diving board, driveway, maintenance, chairs) and fresh paint everywhere!
We have a total membership now of 93 members, which gives us a great foundation to grow from. We are still looking to grow to be a 125 member pool and we need your help to get there! We will reward you with $50 in snack shack credit or guest passes for any new memberships that are from your referrals.
We have budgeted $9k this year for additional improvements brought forward at our last membership meeting, including pool lighting, pump for the kiddie pool, improving the decking, bathrooms, and adding wifi/surveillance.
As a volunteer board, we are very aware that Vista Acres is a community pool. We’re volunteering on this board because this pool has value to us and to you. Please, help us share that value with our city for years to come!
